Each edition offers insight into the people driving our mission forward.<\/h2>\n<div style=\"background: #f3f3f3; border-radius: 16px; padding: 32px; margin: 30px 0;\">\n<div style=\"display: flex; flex-wrap: wrap; align-items: center; gap: 40px;\">\n<div style=\"flex: 0 0 350px; max-width: 350px;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%; height: auto; border-radius: 12px; display: block;\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Phillip-Edminsdon_729x458.jpg\" alt=\"Phillip Edminson\" \/><\/div>\n<div style=\"flex: 1; min-width: 280px;\">\n<h3 style=\"margin: 0 0 24px; font-size: 1.4rem; font-weight: bold; line-height: 1.2; color: #b5b236;\">Phil Edmondson, VP of US Commercialization<\/h3>\n<p>Mr Edmondson is an award-winning medical affairs professional, who excels in creating product awareness, building advocacy and implementing successful medical education programs that contribute to sales growth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Tell us about your background and what brought you into the peripheral nerve field?<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">I\u2019ve\u00a0spent close to two decades working across medical devices and biologics, with more than half of that time focused specifically on peripheral nerve.\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0a highly specialised area of microsurgery that demands exceptional skill from surgeons, and that environment has always appealed to me.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Earlier in my career I served in the\u00a0US\u00a0Army as Military Police, which shaped my approach to leadership. I wanted\u00a0structure,\u00a0discipline\u00a0and\u00a0responsibility\u00a0\u2013 not just for myself, but\u00a0for\u00a0the greater good.\u00a0Those values really shaped who I am professionally.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">What attracted you to\u00a0Orthocell\u00a0and\u00a0Remplir\u2122?<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">When I first met\u00a0Orthocell\u00a0CEO\u00a0and MD\u00a0Paul Anderson,\u00a0what stood out\u00a0immediately\u00a0was how open and collaborative he was. He listened, asked questions, and genuinely wanted input. Although\u00a0Orthocell\u00a0is well\u00a0established\u00a0in Australia, the\u00a0US\u00a0represented\u00a0a new chapter, and that sense of building something meaningful from the ground up really appealed to me.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">What really sealed it for me was the technology.\u00a0We\u00a0sought early feedback from some of the most influential peripheral nerve surgeons in the country, and the response was\u00a0unanimous. Surgeons\u00a0were excited by something genuinely new entering a market that\u00a0hasn\u2019t\u00a0seen much change in\u00a0nearly a\u00a0decade. That validation made it clear that\u00a0Orthocell\u00a0had something worth standing behind.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">What does your day-to-day entail as the\u00a0VP of US Commercialization? <\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">My role is focused on the non-commercial work\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0required to build a credible presence in the\u00a0US\u00a0That includes professional education, society engagement, working with key opinion leaders, compliance, and supporting early data generation such as case series and clinical evaluation. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">I draw heavily on my\u00a0previous\u00a0experience across national accounts, academic\u00a0institutions\u00a0and medical affairs. Over many years\u00a0I\u2019ve\u00a0built strong, trusted relationships with peripheral nerve surgeons across the\u00a0US, and that network helps support awareness and early engagement for\u00a0Remplir.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">We work very closely as a team, but\u00a0we\u2019re\u00a0deliberate about keeping clear separation between commercial and non-commercial activities. That separation is essential in the\u00a0US\u00a0to ensure compliance and avoid any\u00a0perception\u00a0of inducement.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">It is still early in the launch phase of\u00a0Remplir\u00a0in the\u00a0US\u00a0&#8211; what\u00a0feedback\u00a0are you hearing from surgeons\u00a0about the product?<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Overall, the feedback has been very positive. The US market has effectively had one dominant player for close to a decade, and there\u2019s been a real appetite among surgeons for something new \u2013 new characteristics, new evidence and more options for their patients.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">We\u2019re\u00a0still early in the hospital approval process, which naturally brings longer timelines. But where\u00a0Remplir\u00a0has been used, the response has been\u00a0really\u00a0strong. Surgeons see clear differentiation and want to understand how it fits into their practice.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Walk us through\u00a0the next 12 months of the US rollout?<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">I think about this as a progression \u2014 awareness, access,\u00a0adoption\u00a0and advocacy.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Right\u00a0now\u00a0we\u2019re\u00a0very much in the awareness phase\u00a0\u2013\u00a0educating\u00a0surgeons, supporting educational\u00a0forums\u00a0and building a strong presence within professional societies. Over the next year, the goal is to move toward adoption, where surgeons are using\u00a0Remplir\u00a0regularly and confidently because they understand when and how it fits.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">From there, the goal is advocacy.\u00a0We\u2019re\u00a0looking for\u00a0surgeons sharing their own experiences with peers, presenting data, and contributing to the body of evidence.\u00a0Ultimately, I\u00a0want\u00a0Orthocell\u00a0to move from being seen as \u201ca small Australian story\u201d to a respected leader in the\u00a0US\u00a0nerve repair landscape.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">What does patient\u00a0impact\u00a0mean to you personally?<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Nerve injury is a quality-of-life story. When someone loses sensation or function, the consequences ripple through their entire life &#8211;\u00a0work, independence, relationships, confidence. Seeing patients regain movement or feeling after years of impairment is\u00a0incredibly powerful.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Much of\u00a0Orthocell\u2019s\u00a0long-term data comes from Australia, and the outcomes are compelling. My\u00a0goal\u00a0is to build that same depth of patient storytelling in the\u00a0US\u00a0with\u00a0American surgeons\u00a0and American\u00a0patients,\u00a0so\u00a0people understand not just the\u00a0data,\u00a0but the human impact of recovery.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">What excites you most about the opportunity ahead\u00a0for\u00a0Orthocell?<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">For me, it all comes back to impact\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0for patients, for surgeons and for the company.\u00a0We\u2019re\u00a0shaping the\u00a0US\u00a0presence from the ground up,\u00a0establishing\u00a0credibility in a very specialised field, and building something that lasts.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">We have a strong product, a strong leadership team and a clear plan. If we execute well, I believe the next few years will redefine how\u00a0Orthocell\u00a0is perceived in the\u00a0US\u00a0and\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0here to make sure we earn that position.<\/span><span
